I paint with pastels and specialize in Animal portraits.

My animal paintings are mainly done on velour as I find that the velour gives the animals' coats a wonderful soft texture. Artists that inspire me are Vivien Walters, Vic Bearcroft and Lesley Harrison, who are all great animal pastel painters in the UK and US.

I undertake commissions of equine and other animal subjects and use photographs for reference. If you would like to have a portrait done of your animal, go to the "commissions" and "Price" page for more information.
